Rosa Figueroa opened La Dulce with a rented oven, a family recipe book, and no sign on the door — just the smell of conchas pulling people in off the street.
Today her daughters run the counter before sunrise. The recipes haven't changed. The prices are still fair. Every order is still packed by hand.
